Job summary

Establo Lounge at Lounges is recruiting a Junior Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You will support the Head Chef and Sous Chef, ensuring shifts run smoothly and dishes leave the pass to exact specification.

Qualifications

• Experience working with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills.
• Ability to work at pace with limited supervision.
• Strong knowledge of allergen practices and food safety.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts, ensuring prep is done and every dish goes out to spec.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards every shift.
• Take ownership of your section, manage prep, par levels, cleanliness, hygiene and food safety at all times.
• Follow allergen processes and ensure kitchen compliance and safety.
• Support and develop junior chefs within the team.
