Job summary

Loungers plc is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for the Vetro Lounge kitchen, supporting the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts and dishes to spec, with scope to grow into a senior kitchen role.

We offer up to £13.30/hr + tips, paid breaks, staff meals each shift, and 50% off food and drinks from day one. Flexible hours, potential weekend work, and genuine career development across our growing UK sites.

Qualifications

• Experience with fresh ingredients and strong kitchen skills (prep hot and cold, knife skills, hygiene).
• Team player with ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver great shifts, ensuring prep is ready and each dish is to spec.
• Maintain a clean, well-organised kitchen and uphold high food standards every shift.
• Take ownership of your section, manage prep, par, cleanliness, hygiene and food safety.
