Loungers plc is hiring a Junior Sous Chef for Olmo Lounge, a vibrant café bar. The role supports the Head Chef and Sous Chef, ensuring prep is ready and every dish leaves the pass to spec. Great for someone ready to grow into a senior kitchen role and take on more responsibility.

Qualifications

• Experience in a busy kitchen or similar role.
• Able to work evenings and weekends.
• Experience with fresh ingredients and proper food handling.
• Strong teamwork and willingness to grow into a senior kitchen role.

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Chef and Sous Chef to deliver shifts and prep.
• Maintain a clean, organized kitchen and uphold food standards.
• Own your section, manage prep, cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
• Follow allergen processes and ensure kitchen compliance.
• Support and mentor junior staff to develop skills.
• Know dish specs and ensure every plate meets standards.
