Hydes, Heswall’s premium dining pub, is recruiting a Junior Sous Chef to join the brigade and help deliver fresh food to a high standard.

You’ll work up to 40–48 hours across five days, with development opportunities and funded hospitality qualifications as part of our learning and progression programme. Enjoy benefits including weekly pay, tips, and a 50% discount on food for up to six people.

Qualifications

• Previous kitchen experience preferred.
• Able to work 40–48 hours across 5 days.
• Experience in fresh food environments is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and plate dishes to spec across starters, mains and desserts.
• Assist with stock management and ordering.
• Support Sous and Head Chef and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
