Job summary

Maybourne Group is seeking a talented Junior Sous Chef for its Main Kitchen team at Claridge’s in London. You will work in a fast-paced, disciplined, and collaborative environment alongside some of the industry’s top chefs, delivering precise, creative cuisine that meets our exacting standards.

You will lead small teams, support in-room dining and foyer service, and mentor junior staff while upholding Forbes and LQA standards in a five-star setting.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities in a high-end kitchen.
• Proven track record in five-star or fine dining environments.
• Commitment to exceptional quality and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, prepare and service food in the Foyer and Reading Room, and In Room Dining.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and station hygiene.
• Develop and coach Chef de Parties, Demi Chefs de Parties, Commis Chefs and Apprentices.
• Ensure mise-en-place, stock rotation and portion control are consistently applied.
