Job summary

Claridge’s in London is seeking an exceptional Sous Chef to join the Main Kitchen team. You will supervise ingredient preparation, manage a team of chefs, and ensure the highest standards of food quality and service in a fast-paced, five-star setting.

You will lead, motivate and train junior members, uphold Forbes/LQA standards, and collaborate closely with front of house to deliver outstanding guest experiences. A competitive salary package and extensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Sous Chef within a five-star or fine dining environment.
• Ability to lead and motivate a kitchen team.
• Strong focus on accuracy, portioning and plating standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise preparation of ingredients for and during service with Junior Sous Chefs.
• Manage and support a team of Commis Chefs, Demi Chef de Parties and Chef de Parties.
• Ensure the highest standards in food preparation.
• Support kitchen team during service to ensure smooth operation.
• Maintain positive relationships with kitchen and front of house.
