Job summary

Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa in the United Kingdom is seeking a driven Junior Sous Chef to support AG’s and Reflections Restaurants in reaching 3 Rosette and 2 Rosette standards respectively. You will work under the new Executive Chef, bringing creativity, precision and consistency to the kitchen.

The role demands leadership, high quality seasonal ingredients, and a strong drive to achieve accolades across both outlets.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in 2-3 Rosette or Michelin level kitchens.
• Strong technical ability and attention to detail.
• Calm under pressure with strong leadership skills.
• Passion for seasonal, high-quality ingredients.
• Ambition to be part of a team pushing for accolades.

Responsibilities

• Support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering food to a 3 Rosette standard using fresh local produce and seasonal ingredients.
• Lead and inspire the team in day-to-day service.
• Maintain exceptional standards of hygiene, organisation and consistency.
• Contribute to menu development and innovations.
• Drive, training, develop and coach the team to success.
• Working 5 shifts per week 45 hrs per week.
