Job summary

Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa, Turners Hill near East Grinstead, is seeking a Commis Chef to join our kitchen brigade of 16 chefs. You will work across breakfast, lunch and dinner, contributing to award-winning dishes in a fresh-food environment.

You will gain experience in rosette-style cooking, with training and support to help you develop rosette standard dishes using locally sourced ingredients. The role offers 40 hours per week with flexible shifts.

Qualifications

• Quality experience in a fresh food environment.
• Desire to learn and create rosette standard dishes.
• Ability to work flexible shifts; 40 hours/week over 4 or 5 days.
• Experience within a quality hotel kitchen.
• Team player with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of 16 chefs and 5 kitchen Porters.
• Reference menu options on our website for dishes being created.
• Flexible shifts covering breakfast, lunch and dinner, including weekends.
• Gain quality experience in a fresh food environment.

Up to £26,436.80 per annum + monthly service charge payment
