Job summary

Alexander House Hotel & Utopia Spa in Crawley is seeking a Commis Chef to join a 16-chef kitchen brigade, delivering fresh dishes for Rosette-standard menus across two restaurants and the spa group.

This role offers a salary up to £26,436.80 per annum plus monthly service charge, with 4–5 day weeks, free parking, uniform, and extensive staff discounts across hotels and spas.

Qualifications

• Quality experience in a fresh food environment.
• Desire to learn and create rosette standard dishes from fresh local ingredients.
• Ability to work flexible shifts; 40 hours per week over 4 or 5 days.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team of chefs on Rosette standard dishes.
• Contribute to menu planning and kitchen operations across outlets.
• Support training and development within the kitchen brigade.

Up to £26,436.80 per annum + monthly service charge payment

Join Alan White, our new Executive Chef and his team creating award winning dishes across a range of fresh menu choices. Our Kitchen Brigade creates dishes for our 3 Rosette AG's Restaurant, 2 Rosette Reflections Restaurant as well as our Banqueting, Room Service and Lounge operations.

The Role

• Working with a team of 16 chefs and 5 Kitchen Porters

Requirements

• Experience within a quality hotel kitchen environment.
