Crowne Plaza Reading East is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to support the Head Chef and Sous Chef in delivering high-quality dishes that meet AA Rosette standards. You will be involved in the day-to-day kitchen operations, ensuring consistency, creativity, and attention to detail in every plate.

Qualifications

• Experience in a quality-led kitchen line or kitchen team.
• Passion for delivering food to AA Rosette or fine-dining standards.

• Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining consistency.
• Genuine passion for hospitality and guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading and motivating the kitchen team to deliver outstanding food quality.
• Maintain rosette-level presentation, flavour, and technique across all dishes.
• Support menu development, bringing fresh ideas and seasonal creativity.
• Ensure high standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance at all times.
• Help manage stock control, ordering, and minimising waste.
• Train and develop junior team members.
