Job summary

Bistrot Pierre in Torquay is seeking a Junior Sous Chef to support the senior kitchen team and confidently run sections during service. You will help maintain high standards and contribute to a busy, fresh-food environment.

You'll also play a key role in developing consistency, organisation and teamwork, ensuring smooth service and ongoing quality improvements throughout the shift.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
• Passion for fresh, quality food.

Responsibilities

• Run your own section during service.
• Deliver dishes cooked and presented to company specification.
• Support and guide junior team members.
• Maintain food hygiene and safety standards.
• Assist with stock control and kitchen organisation.
