Job summary

Cosy Club Exeter is hiring a Junior Sous Chef to join a busy, high-volume kitchen. You will cook and prepare dishes from fresh ingredients, motivate the team, and step in for the Head Chef when needed.

We offer an hourly rate with tips, 2 days off plus a weekend off every six weeks, meals on shift, paid breaks, and generous staff incentives. Join us for a lively, supportive kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes.
• Very organised and able to manage multiple tasks.
• Mixed branded and independent background considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chef's absence.
• Communicate effectively with FoH & BoH teams to maintain smooth operations.

You must have experience in cooking and preparing from fresh in high volumes, and be very organised. Ideally, you will have a mixed branded and independent background. You must be able to motivate and lead a kitchen brigade in the Head Chefs absence.You will be able to communicate with all other team members up and down the ladder and cement a strong FOH & BOH relationship.
