Job summary

Teemill is offering a 12-month Trainee Software Developer programme in the UK. You’ll learn by doing real projects, work alongside experienced engineers, and develop the skills to become a full-time Software Engineer.

We value curiosity, problem-solving, and love for coding. You’ll gain hands-on experience with PHP (Laravel), SQL, JavaScript (Vue.js), HTML and CSS, in a supportive environment with mentoring and live projects.

Qualifications

• No professional experience required, just enthusiasm and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills collaborating with engineers.
• Curiosity and drive to learn new languages and technologies.
• Proactive mindset: enjoys figuring things out and improving how things work.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop skills in PHP (Laravel), SQL, JavaScript (Vue.js), HTML & CSS.
• Build high-quality software features with guidance from experienced developers.
• Get to grips with our codebase, tools, and lifecycle of software development.
• Debug, test, and improve code to professional standards.
• Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback in team discussions.
• Work in project teams to learn from design to deployment.
• Explore how AI technologies can improve efficiency and creativity.
