Job summary

Teemill is offering a 12-month Trainee Software Developer programme in the UK. You’ll learn by doing real projects, work alongside experienced engineers, and develop the skills to become a full-time Software Engineer.

We value curiosity, problem-solving, and love for coding. You’ll gain hands-on experience with PHP (Laravel), SQL, JavaScript (Vue.js), HTML and CSS, in a supportive environment with mentoring and live projects.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop skills in PHP (Laravel), SQL, JavaScript (Vue.js), HTML & CSS.
• Build high-quality software features with guidance from experienced developers.
• Get to grips with our codebase, tools, and lifecycle of software development.
• Debug, test, and improve code to professional standards.
• Participate in code reviews and learn from feedback in team discussions.
• Work in project teams to learn from design to deployment.

We’re looking for a Trainee Software Developer to join our 12-month development programme where you’ll learn, grow, and build real software used by thousands of creators.

You don’t need commercial experience - just curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a genuine love for coding.

You’ll work alongside experienced engineers, get hands-on with real projects, and develop the skills you need to become a full-time Software Engineer at Teemill.

What you’ll be doing

Learning and developing skills in key technologies: PHP (Laravel), SQL, JavaScript (Vue.js), HTML & CSS.

Building high-quality software features with guidance from experienced developers.

Getting to grips with our codebase, tools, and software development lifecycle.

Debugging, testing, and improving your code to professional standards.

Taking part in code reviews, learning from feedback, and contributing to team discussions.

Working in project teams to learn the full journey from design to deployment.

Exploring how AI technologies can improve efficiency and creativity in your work.

What we’re looking for
