Job summary

PDT Partners invites engineering students to a 10-week Software Engineering internship in the United Kingdom, running from early June to mid-August. You will work with senior developers on real projects, gaining hands-on experience across the trading life cycle and large-scale data systems.

You will design, develop, test, and debug software, with mentorship and opportunities to contribute to infrastructure and tooling.

Qualifications

• Excellent academic background from a rigorous computer science or engineering program graduating in Fall 2027 or later.
• Strong programming skills with a deep understanding of data structures and algorithms.
• Fast-learner, intellectually curious, problem-solving approach.
• Proactive with sense of urgency.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain software for trading life cycle components.
• Design, develop, debug, and test software with large data, real-time events, and batch processing.
• Collaborate with senior developers and contribute to infrastructure tooling.
• Contribute to large-scale data set maintenance and software improvements.
