Job summary

Bromley High School - GDST is seeking a full-time Junior School SENDCo and EAL Co-Ordinator to join our team from January 2027. The successful candidate will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team to develop inclusive strategies across the school.

Experience with EAL pupils and the National SENCO award are required; a DSL qualification would be desirable but is not essential. The role is full-time and based at the Junior School premises.

Qualifications

• Qualified SENDCo for Junior School.
• Completed National SENCO award is required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate SEND and EAL provision for the junior school.
• Report to Senior Leadership Team and contribute to whole-school inclusion strategies.

Job description

Due to the successful appointment of our current SENDCo to Head of the Junior School, we are looking for a full time, qualified and energetic Junior School SENDCo and EAL Co-Ordinator to join our team. The role is effective from January 2027, with the successful candidate reporting directly to a member of the Senior Leadership Team.

If you have experience of working with EAL children and have completed the National SENCO award, we would love to hear from you. A DSL qualification would be desirable but not essential.
