Job summary

St Edmund’s Junior School is seeking an experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team. The HLTA will support pupils from Pre-Reception through Year 6, working closely with class teachers to enhance teaching and learning.

The successful candidate will lead targeted interventions, deliver learning activities, and provide classroom cover where appropriate, fostering independence and high expectations.

Qualifications

• HLTA with proven experience in primary education.
• Ability to deliver targeted interventions and manage groups.
• Confident in leading learning activities and providing classroom cover.
