Salary: GDST Middle Leaders’ scale (£52,533 - £68,742 per annum). Dependent on experience.

Putney High School is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Head of PE to join us full-time on a fixed term basis, for maternity cover. You will participate fully in school life, contributing to our school's continuing success and happy atmosphere. Putney High School is ranked one of the best girls' schools for sport in the country. To continue this success, we are looking for a well-qualified Head of PE to help build upon the very high standards of our lively, inclusive, and highly successful PE Department.
The Head of PE will be responsible for the overall strategic direction, leadership and management of the sporting provision at Putney High Junior School. You will teach sport from Reception to Year 6, oversee (and where appropriate deliver) the co-curricular sports provision, and manage any specialist staff and / or external coaches.
At all levels and in a whole range of sports, our pupils love being physically active, championing each other and developing their skills and abilities as young sportswomen; this is evident through our achievements and results.
The Junior School is a warm, vibrant, and down-to-earth community in which pupils are curious and collaborative and develop a love of learning. It is proud of its exceptional academic results and strong pastoral care.
