About the role

This role of Junior Talent Consultant offers a fantastic opportunity to work in a strategic talent acquisition function while contributing to the success of a dynamic, global organisation. You will partner with hiring manager and cross-functional teams to identify and secure world-class talent, maintain a strong employer brand, and deliver an exceptional candidate experience.

What you’ll do

• Assist in the end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, sourcing, screening and interview coordination.
• Act as a key point of contact for candidates to ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Develop sourcing plans and candidate pipelines, supporting BigHand’s values and commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
• Source and engage with potential candidates using various platforms such as Linkedin, job boards, social media, and networking events.
• Conduct initial candidate screenings and facilitate interview processes with our hiring managers.
• Maintain and update applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment databases.
• Coordinate and participate in recruitment events such as career fairs, networking events, and university partnerships.
• Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
• Supporting talent and recruitment projects that align with the people team OKR’s.

What we’re looking for

• Experience in either agency or inhouse recruitment.
• Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment tools.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• A proactive and team-oriented mindset with a keen eye for talent.
• Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
