Job summary

The role leads a small team of Support Workers and night staff, ensuring services are safe and high-quality. Previous senior support roles are welcome as a step up in a rolling temporary contract.

Qualifications

• Experience in supported living or social care.
• Experience supervising or managing staff.
• Strong safeguarding and risk management knowledge.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Trauma-informed, person-centred approach.
• Full driving licence or access to a vehicle preferred.
• Enhanced DBS is required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day running of supported living services.
• Provide leadership to Support Workers and night staff.
• Ensure safe, person-centred support for service users.
• Oversee plans, risk assessments and safeguarding.
• Supervise staff through meetings and guidance.
• Respond to safeguarding concerns and incidents.
• Work with social services and external agencies.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Promote independence and wellbeing.
• Monitor accommodation quality and safety.
