Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment is supporting a Cannock-based engineering client in recruiting a Junior Project Engineer (Water Treatment). The role focuses on assisting with project planning, procurement, and budget tracking as part of a growing team.

You will develop project programmes, coordinate with suppliers, and support cash flow and reporting while building hands-on industry knowledge through full training and career development.

Qualifications

• CSCS/CNSG Skills Card required.
• Experience in project engineering and process knowledge.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with day-to-day project and scope activities.
• Produce the Project Programme and update as required by the Contract.
• Produce technical specifications, procurement schedule, bid tabs and sub-contracts for procurement.
• Assist in tracking and reporting team hours and expenses monthly.
• Assist with production of project cash flows and liaise with accounts.
• Assist with management of each project budget.

This role will see you manage a portfolio of projects, their delivery, financial management and client interaction.

The Role

• Assist with the day-to-day operational aspects of the project and scope
• Produce the Project Programme and update as required by the Contract
• Produce technical specifications, procurement schedule, bid tabs and sub-contracts required for project procurement
• Assist in tracking and reporting of team hours and expenses on a monthly basis.
