Job summary

Advance TRS in Aldershot is seeking a Project Engineer to deliver multidisciplinary water sector projects from design through commissioning and handover. You will coordinate design teams, clients and suppliers to meet programme, cost and quality targets.

This role offers hands-on project leadership across the full lifecycle, with opportunities for professional development and exposure to the water and wastewater market within a supportive engineering team.

Qualifications

• A degree, HNC/HND or equivalent in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Process or related engineering discipline.
• Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.
• Professional membership or working towards chartership (APM/PRINCE2), and SMSTS/SSSTS or health and safety qualifications would be advantageous.

• Coordinate multidisciplinary design teams and review technical drawings, calculations and documentation.
• Act as a key technical contact for clients, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.

• Support procurement, cost control and change management.
• Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards, WIMES, BS 7671 and client specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers.

We're working with a leading water and wastewater solutions business looking for an experienced Project Engineer to support the delivery of multidisciplinary engineering projects across the water sector.

This role offers the opportunity to manage projects from design through to commissioning and handover, working closely with clients, design teams, subcontractors and site teams.

About You

Proven experience delivering engineering projects within water, utilities, infrastructure, industrial or construction environments.

Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, contractors and suppliers.

Strong understanding of project programmes, budgets, risk management and technical deliverables.

A degree, HNC/HND or equivalent qualification in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Process or a related engineering discipline.

Valid CSCS card and full UK driving licence.

Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.Professional membership or working towards chartership, project management qualifications such as APM or PRINCE2, and SMSTS/SSSTS or health and safety qualifications would be advantageous.
