Job summary

Astec is seeking a Graduate Project Engineer to support the Project Management team from order to completion. You will coordinate activities across Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Quality and customers, tracking progress and resolving issues to ensure project success.

The role requires proactive communication, willingness to learn, and the ability to work with people at all levels in a manufacturing setting. Travel is minimal and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, Manufacturing, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Placement or internship experience within an engineering, manufacturing or project environment would be beneficial.
• Strong IT capabilities and ability to learn new software quickly.

Responsibilities

• Support Project Manager in planning and execution of customer projects.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones and key deliverables.
• Assist in tracking project costs, risks, actions and progress updates.
• Liaise with Engineering, Production, Procurement and Quality to meet requirements.
• Attend project meetings and issue meeting minutes and trackers.
• Support FATs, customer visits and project reviews.
• Analyse project data and prepare reports, dashboards and KPI updates.
• Investigate project issues and identify practical solutions.
• Maintain project documentation and ensure records are up to date.
• Support customer communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify opportunities to improve project processes and systems.
• Develop understanding of Telestack products, manufacturing processes and delivery requirements.
• Take ownership of assigned projects as experience develops.
