DXC Technology in Belfast is seeking a Junior Oracle Infrastructure & Database Engineer to join our team in a hands-on role. You will support Oracle platforms, perform database administration tasks, and contribute to infrastructure, cloud services, and automation initiatives.

The role emphasizes learning, collaboration, and adherence to documented procedures, with a clear path for technical growth across databases, infrastructure and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL.
• Exposure to Linux or Windows Server environments.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the operation, maintenance and continuous improvement of Oracle platforms and their infrastructure.
• Gain exposure to Oracle Database Administration, SQL/PLSQL, Linux and Windows Server support.
• Work with cloud platforms including AWS, Azure and OCI.
• Assist with automation and scripting efforts.
• Participate in platform monitoring and performance optimisation.
• Provide infrastructure and operational support as needed.
