Job description

Overview: Gopuff is looking for a Night Senior Operations Associate to join the Operations team. Reporting directly to a Site Leader, Senior OAs play an essential role at Gopuff, requiring drive, perseverance, positivity, and enthusiasm. The role is a core part of the Site leadership team, responsible for maintaining high operational standards at our MFCs to deliver timely and accurate service to customers. Customers rely on Gopuff for their everyday essentials—day and night, rain or shine. We're building a team of thinkers, dreamers, and risk-takers to reshape retail faster than ever before. And it doesn't hurt if you like snacks.

Responsibilities:

1. Leading: Managing the warehouse team during shifts, leading by example, training new staff, and ensuring process and product knowledge.
2. Picking and packing: Accurately selecting and packing items for dispatch.
3. Delivery Partners: Managing delivery partners to ensure smooth delivery experiences.
4. Issue resolution: Communicating with customers regarding substitutions or out-of-stock items.
5. Goods Inbound: Receiving products from vendors, verifying counts, and resolving discrepancies.
6. Stock management: Organizing inventory, conducting cycle counts, managing waste, and ensuring compliance, including partnerships like TooGoodToGo.
7. Warehouse management: Keeping the warehouse compliant, clean, organized, and aligned with standards.
8. Health and Safety: Supporting onsite health and safety compliance and testing.

About You:

• Experience in a restaurant, retail, or warehouse environment.
• Basic knowledge of web-based applications like Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong work ethic, punctuality, responsibility, and honesty.
• Effective communication skills.
• Organized, team-oriented, positive, and helpful attitude.
• Availability to work overnight shifts (12am - 7am).
