Job summary

Brook Green Supply is seeking a Junior Metering and Settlements Analyst in Greater London to support the Billing & Settlements team. You will help manage our electricity metering portfolio, coordinate site works, and contribute to settlement data accuracy.

This is an early-career role with guidance from experienced colleagues. You will review metering requests, assist onboarding of MPANs, and work with internal and external teams to resolve queries, building essential industry operations

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant subject, such as mathematics, economics, engineering, science or another analytical discipline, or equivalent relevant experience.
• A receptive learner who welcomes feedback and is enthusiastic about developing knowledge in electricity metering and settlements.
• Good attention to detail with a methodical approach to data checking and problem solving.
• Clear written and verbal communication and ability to build relationships with colleagues and external contacts.
• Well organised, proactive and able to manage tasks with guidance when needed.
• Good working knowledge of Excel and confidence using data, spreadsheets and reports.

Responsibilities

• Support coordination and tracking of new connections, disconnections and site works, ensuring metering jobs meet service levels.
• Review customer metering requests, raise actions and liaise with agents and internal colleagues.
• Assist with onboarding of MPANs, checking details and escalating discrepancies.
• Help investigate metering and settlement queries and escalate complex cases.
• Follow processes, maintain accurate records and suggest improvements to metering portfolio management.
• Build relationships with internal teams, external agents and other industry stakeholders.
• Prepare and update reports on metering activity, exceptions and service performance, highlighting outstanding actions.

As a Junior Metering and Settlements Analyst within the Billing & Settlements team, you will support the management of our electricity metering portfolio, help coordinate site works and contribute to accurate settlement data. You will learn to review customer metering requests, support new connections and disconnections, and work with internal teams and external agents to resolve queries.

This is an opportunity for a curious, organised individual at the beginning of their career to develop practical experience in electricity metering, settlements and industry operations. You will receive guidance from experienced colleagues and gradually take on greater responsibility.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Support the coordination and tracking of new connections, disconnections and site works, helping ensure metering jobs meet agreed service levels.
• Review customer metering requests, raise relevant actions and liaise with agents and internal colleagues with support from the team.
• Assist with accurate and timely onboarding of new Meter Point Administration Numbers (MPANs), checking details and escalating discrepancies.
• Help investigate metering and settlement queries and exceptions, learning from more experienced colleagues and escalating complex cases.
• Follow established processes, maintain accurate records and suggest improvements to the management of the metering portfolio.
• Build constructive working relationships with internal teams, external agents and other industry stakeholders.
• Prepare and update reports on metering activity, exceptions and service performance, highlighting outstanding actions.
