Job summary

Brook Green Supply in London is seeking a Metering and Settlements Analyst to join the Billing & Settlements team. You will manage electricity metering activity, coordinate site works and ensure accurate settlement data, supporting new connections and disconnections and resolving complex exceptions.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a metering, settlements or industry operations role within the energy industry.
• Strong knowledge of at least one of electricity metering, industry data flows or electricity settlements.
• High attention to detail with an inquisitive, structured approach to problem-solving.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with confidence influencing external partners and internal teams.
• Proactive, self-motivated and able to organise priorities with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable working with operational data and reports.
• Adaptable team player, keen to learn new subjects, develop skills and improve processes.

Responsibilities

• Own new connections, disconnections and site works, ensuring metering jobs are completed within agreed service levels.
• Review and action customer metering requirements, coordinating with agents and internal teams.
• Ensure new MPANs are onboarded accurately and on time.
• Provide subject matter expertise to investigate and resolve complex metering and settlement queries and exceptions.
• Improve and document processes to manage the metering portfolio efficiently and reduce recurring issues.
• Build effective relationships with internal teams, external agents and other industry stakeholders.
• Produce accurate reporting on metering activity, exceptions and service performance, escalating risks requiring action.
