Job summary

Greenbean is seeking a self-motivated field reader to collect utility readings and keep bills accurate. You’ll work outdoors, plan your routes, and manage your schedule to hit weekly targets with guidance from your field delivery manager.

The role is full-time with a company vehicle and requires a valid UK driving licence. Training is provided and safeguarding checks are performed as part of the onboarding process.

Qualifications

• Customer-facing role with a professional demeanor.

• Physically fit for outdoor field work and walking longer distances.
• Must pass screening and vetting standards, including DBS checks.
• Full UK driving licence is required for the role.
• Willingness to travel to customers across assigned routes.

Responsibilities

• Collect data from gas, electric and water meters using a handheld device.
• Ensure customers receive accurate and up-to-date bills by recording readings.
• Plan routes, manage workload and meet weekly targets with support from the field delivery manager.
• Report any dangerous meter installations or suspected tampering.
• Occasional longer walks and outdoor work as part of daily duties.

Job description

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and enjoy spending time outdoors, preferring not to be confined to a 9-5 office role?

This is a fantastic role for someone self-motivated to work independently. Within this role you will also have the opportunity to acquire a company car.

The ideal candidate will ensure customers receive accurate and up-to-date bills by collecting data from gas, electric and water meters, using a hand-held electronic device, and other equipment. There is a great deal of flexibility within this role, such as planning your route and managing your schedule and workload to achieve the targets set for the week by your field delivery manager.

There will be an occasional need to walk longer distances as not all customers live in built-up areas, but you’ll get great exercise!

Working Hours:

One of the benefits of this role is that it’s a full time flexible basis between hours of 8am - 8pm Monday-Sunday, working 40 per week.

Requirements:

• Approachable, presentable, and polite and acts as an ambassador for the company.




• Physically fit due to the nature of the role.




• Required to plan and manage workload independently, working towards targets.




• Report any dangerous meter installations or suspected signs of tampering.




• Self-motivated and energetic and enjoy working outdoors.




• A full UK driving licence.

Full training is provided so experience is not necessary.
