Job summary

Greenbean is hiring for a full-time field-based role focused on meter readings and data collection. You will visit customers to record gas, electric and water meter data using a handheld device, ensuring accurate billing while following safety procedures.

The role offers flexible hours (8am–8pm, 40 hours/week), independence, and a company car. No prior experience required, but a UK driving licence and DBS check are necessary.

Responsibilities

• Collect data from gas, electric and water meters using a hand-held device and other equipment to ensure customers receive accurate and up-to-date bills.
• Plan routes and manage weekly workload with field delivery manager to meet targets.
• Occasionally walk longer distances when customers are not in built-up areas.
• Possess and maintain a valid UK driving licence and drive as required.
• Raise safety concerns if dangerous meter installations or tampering are suspected.

Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and enjoy spending time outdoors, preferring not to be confined to a 9-5 office role?

This is a fantastic role for someone self-motivated to work independently. Within this role you will also have the opportunity to acquire a company car.

The ideal candidate will ensure customers receive accurate and up-to-date bills by collecting data from gas, electric and water meters, using a hand-held electronic device, and other equipment. There is a great deal of flexibility within this role, such as planning your route and managing your schedule and workload to achieve the targets set for the week by your field delivery manager.

There will be an occasional need to walk longer distances as not all customers live in built-up areas, but you’ll get great exercise!

Working Hours:

One of the benefits of this role is that it’s a full time flexible basis between hours of 8am - 8pm Monday-Sunday, working 40 per week.
