Job summary
New Look is seeking a Junior Merchandiser to support planning and stock management across all channels, ensuring product availability meets customer demand. You will work closely with Buying to maximise profit by placing the right product in the right place at the right time, analysing sales and stock data and supporting trading decisions.

Qualifications
- Commercially minded with strong trade and sales analysis skills.
- Comfortable interpreting weekly trade data and identifying risks/opportunities.
- Proficient in Excel (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables) and stock planning systems.
Responsibilities
- Achieve department KPIs to maximise sales and profit.
- Review Weekly Sales and Stock Intake (WSSI) and coordinate actions.
- Contribute to range development reflecting brand strategy and seasonal plans.
- Manage commitments to ensure stock targets are met and efficient operations.
- Prepare and present range sign-offs aligned to strategy and customer requirements.
- Present departmental strategy each season with Buyer and Designer.
- Monitor product groups, pricing strategy and range building with the Buyer.
- Analyse data to identify issues and provide recommendations to protect or maximise profit.
- Manage in-season OTB down to season/department level.
- Review current sales with Buyer and react to maximise opportunities.
