Ultra Precision Control Systems in the UK is seeking an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to join the Cheltenham engineering team. The role involves working with supervision, developing product data, and applying mechanical, electrical, and software tools to meet demanding environments.

You will collaborate with senior engineers, prepare technical documents, contribute to design solutions, and gain experience in APQP/PPAP, DFM/DFT, and lifecycle processes while enjoying flexible hybrid working and

Formación

• Relevant qualifications to an appropriate level, typically a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare technical documents and design product data with oversight, helping deliver solutions within schedule and budget.
• Understand requirements and apply them under supervision of senior engineers.
• Support manufacturing and supply chain, developing DFM/DFT understandings.
• Provide engineering estimates for contributions to projects.
• Communicate ideas and proposals to peers and line managers under supervision.
• Liaise with Commercial/Finance/Supply chain functions as needed.
• Author documents in PLM and release via ECR process.
• Understand configuration and change management under supervision.
• Consider security, export licences and ITAR when guided.
