Ultra Maritime is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join a multi-disciplinary team in the UK. You will define mechanical architecture, manage requirements, and deliver robust solutions for complex systems within our maritime defence portfolio.

The role covers design, testing, and verification across project lifecycles, with leadership in mechanical integration and customer support. Flexible working and a 9-day fortnight are featured in our approach to work-life balance.

Qualificações

• Degree-level education or equivalent experience.
• Experience across the full project lifecycle.
• Mechanical design and documentation using MCAD/MCAE/PLM/ERP toolsets.
• Security clearance at SC level or eligibility.

Responsabilidades

• Define and manage mechanical architecture, system and sub-system requirements, ensuring validation and verification.
• Develop and document robust mechanical solutions for complex systems using engineering toolsets.
• Create and peer-review design artefacts, data packs and analyses per product development framework.
• Lead mechanical integration, verification and acceptance testing; present evidence as required.
• Provide in-service and production support to customers.
