Job summary

Ariat Europe is seeking an IT Support Engineer I to join our Harwell office. This entry-level role provides hands-on IT support for around 50 staff, acting as the first point of contact for everyday tech queries and issues, while collaborating with a global IT team across time zones.

The position is hybrid, requiring three on-site days per week with occasional after-hours support for incidents or events, and offers training from senior engineers to develop your IT career.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or helpdesk is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS devices.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 apps and services.
• Ability to follow written procedures and document work accurately.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person IT support for ~50 employees at Ariat's England office.
• First point of contact for common technology questions and issues.
• Log, update and manage support requests through the IT ticketing system.
• Assist with onboarding/offboarding and equipment setup.
• Support meeting rooms and collaboration tools as needed.
