Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking an Internal Auditor to join the Yeovil team. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation to support risk-based audits and ensure compliance with internal controls and group policies.

The role offers exposure to UK operations and potential cross-geography assignments, with opportunities to develop analytical, technical, and stakeholder management capabilities within a complex industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or Engineering.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CIA) are a plus.
• Experience in External or Internal audit fields.
• Understanding of audit fundamentals and IIA standards.
• Experience with data analytics tools like Power BI, ACL, SQL.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits using Group regulations and IIA standards.
• Assist planning, fieldwork, findings identification, recommendations and reporting.
• Support follow-up activities on agreed action plans.
• Contribute to risk assessment and audit planning.
• Build effective relationships with stakeholders and support development of audit methodologies.
