Job summary

Leonardo UK is seeking a Senior Internal Auditor to drive risk-based audits across the UK Helicopters Division, reporting to the Head of Internal Audit. You will lead engagements in collaboration with stakeholders, contribute to risk assessments, and help shape the annual Audit Plan with a focus on controls and data-driven insights.

You will utilize AI/data analytics techniques and travel as required to cover international geographies, while promoting accountability, transparency, and continual

Qualifications

• Master’s degree or equivalent in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or Engineering.
• CIA certification is a plus.
• Experience in independently managing audit engagements.
• Familiarity with UK regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Act as a key Internal Audit reference for the UK perimeter of the Helicopters Division.
• Conduct internal audit engagements following Group regulations and IIA standards.
• Lead planning, fieldwork, findings, and reporting with auditees.
• Perform follow-up activities on agreed actions.
• Contribute to risk assessment ahead of Audit Plan.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to improve Internal Control Systems.
• Develop internal audit methodologies including data analytics.
