Job summary

Leonardo UK seeks an Internal Auditor to collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation and support the annual risk-based audit plan. Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration or in Technical/Engineering area.
• Professional certifications (or willingness to pursue them) such as Certified Internal Auditor are considered a plus.
• Experience in External or Internal audit fields.
• Understanding of audit fundamentals.
• Proficiency in internal audit methodology and IIA standards.
• Understanding of core business processes and willingness to deepen knowledge.
• Experience with data analytics tools such as Power BI, ACL or SQL.

Responsibilities

• Conduct audits using Group regulations and in adherence with the IIA Professional Standards.
• Plan, conduct fieldwork, identify findings, propose recommendations, identify risks, and prepare work papers.
• Support follow-up on agreed action plans.
• Assist preventive audits by analysing internal control and suggesting improvements.
• Assist risk assessments to define the Audit Plan.
• Build effective working relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.
• Help develop audit methodologies, incl. data analytics and new tech.
