Job summary

Pure Resourcing Solutions Limited in Chelmsford seeks a proactive Junior Business Partner to join an Engineering company on a 12-month FTC. The role is a varied generalist HR position supporting managers and staff across employee relations, development, compliance and project work.

The ideal candidate will have HR advisory experience within construction/engineering, strong communication, and the ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Hybrid working is available.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a HR Advisor position or similar level role.
• Good understanding of core HR practices and employment legislation.
• Experience supporting employee relations activities.
• Previous experience within multi site, engineering or construction business ideal.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and guidance to managers & employees.
• Support employee relations cases, including absence, performance and probation reviews.
• Assist with the delivery of HR projects & organisational initiatives.
• Coordinate training, learning & development activities across the business.
• Maintain & improve HR systems, records and reporting.
• Support payroll, benefits & compliance processes.
• Contribute to wellbeing, audit and continuous improvement initiatives.

Job description

We are looking for a proactive Junior Business Partner to join an Engineering company in Chelmsford on a 12 month FTC. This is a varied generalist role supporting managers and employees across a wide range of HR activities, including employee relations, learning and development, compliance and project work.

They are looking for someone with similar industry experience ideally within construction, engineering or similar backgrounds due to the nature of the business.

Key Details

• FTC contract for 1 year
• Salary circa £42k
• 08:30-17:00 Monday to Friday
• Based in Chelmsford with some travel required.
• Hybrid working available.
• 25 days holiday + BH

Key Responsibilities

• Provide HR advice and guidance to managers & employees.
