Job summary

Voyage Care is seeking a proactive Junior HR Advisor to join our HR Operations team in Lichfield on a fixed-term 12-month contract. You will handle queries, support compliance matters, and help maintain accurate HR records while assisting payroll and benefits administration.

Qualifications

• Experience in HR Operations, Administration or Advisory role.
• Knowledge of HR transactional processes and compliance.
• Experience supporting managers and employees with HR queries.
• Strong organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in a large, fast-paced organisation.
• Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Act as the first point of contact for the HR Operations team via the HR inbox.
• Provide guidance on Right to Work, sponsorships, immigration, family-friendly policies and leave, contractual changes, regulatory registrations, DBS and compliance checks.
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR systems in line with procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Support payroll-related administration including contractual changes and overpayments.
• Coordinate family-friendly leave processes (maternity, paternity, adoption).
• Administer employee benefits and rewards programs (pensions, private medical insurance, life assurance, long-service awards).
• Support Skilled Worker Sponsorship Licence processes including Certificates of Sponsorship and visa matters.
• Conduct Right to Work checks and monitor visa compliance.
• Manage DBS, PVG, NMC, SCW and SSSC processes, renewals and compliance.
• Handle sensitive employee matters and collaborate with Payroll, Recruitment, Finance and external agencies.
• Contribute to HR policy, systems and process improvements.
