About the Role

Are you a motivated, passionate individual looking to take the next step in your career? Cantium, part of Commercial Services Group, is seeking a Junior Helpdesk Engineer to support all Helpdesk duties across the group, providing effective technical assistance and ownership of support requests.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide expert technical support, ensuring helpdesk duties meet KPIs and service levels.
  2. Respond to support requests via calls, chat, emails, and in-person, resolving issues promptly.
  3. Maintain detailed records of incidents and requests, documenting resolution steps.
  4. Stay updated on industry trends to offer the best support and advice.
  5. Collaborate with service providers and external suppliers to resolve issues and escalate as needed.
  6. Troubleshoot and diagnose complex IT problems, sharing knowledge with colleagues.
  7. Work with other departments to support company goals and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  8. Ensure data security and compliance with security protocols.
  9. Assist in onboarding new team members and maintaining knowledge resources.

Minimum Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of explaining technical issues to non-technical users.
  • Experience in diagnosing and resolving technical problems, advising on systems and services.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Familiarity with IT service management tools and ticketing systems.
