Job summary

Sigma is seeking a part-qualified finance professional to join our corporate finance team in a dynamic, growing business. Reporting to the Corporate Controller, you will assist in preparing the Group's consolidated management accounts across seven companies and support banking, taxation, forecasting and intercompany reporting.

You will gain exposure to group finance activities and collaborate with stakeholders across the organisation while developing towards full qualification.

Qualifications

• Experience in preparation of management accounts.
• Consolidated accounts experience is advantageous.
• Understanding of month-end accounting processes and financial reporting requirements.
• Experience in a multi-company environment would be beneficial.
• Familiarity with balance sheet reconciliations and intercompany accounting processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparation of the Group's consolidated monthly management accounts.
• Own month-end reporting for central overheads and monitor against budgets.
• Prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations for central functions.
• Oversee monthly intercompany reconciliation process with timely clearance.
• Assist in quarterly Group cash flow forecasts.
• Ensure management accounts, budgets and forecasts comply with policies.
• Analyze variances and key financial performance indicators.
• Review VAT return reconciliations and analysis.
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and project work.
• Contribute to process improvement and controls.
