Job summary

Vanrath is partnering with an established FMCG business to recruit a Junior Trading Manager in Lisburn, United Kingdom. The role focuses on developing trading activity and supplier relationships to drive commercial performance.

The ideal candidate has at least 12 months' experience in trading, supply chain, buying or procurement, strong negotiation skills and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams. This permanent position offers on-site parking and clear development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience in trading, supply chain, buying or procurement.
• Strong communication skills and ability to build relationships.
• Experience in FMCG or related sector is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day relationships with a portfolio of suppliers.
• Support the development and delivery of trading plans and objectives.
• Contribute to negotiations around pricing, promotions and terms.
• Monitor supplier and product performance and identify growth opportunities.
• Coordinate supplier activity with internal teams.
• Maintain records of trading agreements and actions.
• Identify opportunities to improve supplier performance.
