Job summary

If you’re early in your career and motivated by problem solving, this role provides a strong foundation and clear development opportunities. Field-based work starts from home, visits customer sites, and uses a field service system to manage jobs.

You’ll need a full UK driving licence, some customer-facing experience, and comfort with a Windows laptop. Training is provided, plus a company car and ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence.
• Interest and understanding of engineering/technology.
• Comfortable using Windows laptop and learning new software.
• Some workplace experience showing reliability, punctuality and customer focus.
• Professional, customer-friendly on-site representation.

Responsibilities

• Start your day from home and visit customer sites.
• Meet the customer, understand the issue and provide updates.
• Use a Windows laptop to review system logs, run checks and record work.
• Carry out basic connectivity and setup tasks (LAN, IP settings, interfaces).
• Complete preventative maintenance and replace modules/parts as needed.
• Test the equipment and document actions before leaving.
• Use downtime for structured learning and training modules.
