Job summary

Travis Perkins Plc in Northampton is seeking a Junior Employee Relations Advisor to support the Employee Relations team. You will handle ER cases, provide telephone-based advice, and help drive improvements while working from our Northampton office 3–4 days a week with some home working.

The role offers exposure to disputes, case management, and collaboration with HR colleagues across the business. You should bring at least 2 years HR experience, strong communication, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years experience in working in a similar HR role.
• Hold excellent communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
• Hold up to date knowledge of employment legislation and good understanding of data protection principles.
• Ability to handle difficult or complex situations.
• Confident and a strong influencer to respectfully challenge and be challenged at all levels.
• Hold a driving licence and mode of transport.

Responsibilities

• Provide first class advice and guidance on Employee Relations matters over the telephone to colleagues, managers and senior leaders.
• End-to-end case management support for managers of a low volume of dispute resolution cases.
• Provide administrative support for Employee Relations activities and projects.
• Assist with Employee Relations related business projects as required.
