Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Environmental Consultant in the UK. You will support Environmental Impact Assessments, planning and environmental consenting across major infrastructure and energy projects, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver robust environmental outcomes.

You will develop skills in EIA coordination, environmental design and project management through a structured early-careers program, with mentors and development opportunities within Arup’s global network.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Geography & Geospatial Science, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science
• MS applications, EIA, organisation, co-ordination and collaborative working across teams
• GIS, project management, programme management

Responsibilities

• Writing sections of environmental reports including EIA screening letters, EIA scoping reports, non-technical sections of Environmental Statements
• Supporting the review of technical inputs for alignment with project details and EIA compliance
• Inputting to environmental design and applying environmental-led design principles
• Interfacing with project teams both internal and external and developing project management and commercial skills
• Communicating and liaising with clients and contributing to bids and presentations
