Job summary

Arup in Manchester is offering a Graduate Environmental Consultant role within the Environment Team. You will contribute to environmental impact assessment, EIA screening, scoping and Environmental Statements, working with multidisciplinary teams on major infrastructure and renewables projects.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in Geography & Geospatial Science, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
• MS applications, EIA, organisation, co-ordination and collaborative working across teams.
• Full working rights in the country of application; No more than 12 months of full-time experience; Recently graduated or on track to graduate before employment starts.

Responsibilities

• Writing sections of environmental reports including EIA screening letters, EIA scoping reports, non-technical sections of Environmental Statements
• Supporting the review of technical inputs for alignment with project details and EIA compliance
• Inputting to environmental design and applying environmental-led design principles
• Interfacing with project teams both internal and external
• Communicating and liaising with clients
• Contributing to bids and presentations
