Job summary

Arup invites applications for a Graduate Environmental Consultant in the UK. The role focuses on delivering EIA and environmental consenting services for major infrastructure projects, working within a multidisciplinary team across ecology, landscape, water, air quality and climate disciplines.

You will support EIA coordinators, assist specialist environmental teams, and contribute to bids and presentations while developing professional qualifications and a structured learning pathway.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
• MS applications, organisation, co-ordination and collaborative working across teams.
• GIS, project management, programme management.

Responsibilities

• Writing sections of environmental reports including EIA screening letters, EIA scoping reports, non-technical sections of Environmental Statements
• Supporting the review of technical inputs for alignment with project details and EIA compliance
• Inputting to environmental design and applying environmental-led design principles
• Interfacing with project teams both internal and external and developing project management and commercial skills
• Communicating and liaising with clients and contributing to bids and presentations
