Job summary

Arup is recruiting for an Environmental Consultant graduate to support Environmental Impact Assessments (EIA) and consenting for major UK infrastructure projects. You will work within a multidisciplinary team, delivering EIA coordination, environmental statements and design-led environmental inputs.

You will rapidly develop project management, client liaison and bid-building skills while contributing to bids and presentations and interfacing with internal and external teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, Geospatial Science, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
• No more than 12 months of full-time experience in a comparable role.
• Full working rights in the UK and eligibility to work without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Writing sections of environmental reports including EIA screening letters, EIA scoping reports, non-technical sections of Environmental Statements.
• Supporting the review of technical inputs for alignment with project details and EIA compliance.
• Inputting to environmental design and applying environmental-led design principles.
• Interfacing with project teams both internal and external.
• Communicating and liaising with clients.
• Contributing to bids and presentations.
