Job summary

Arup's Early Careers in Glasgow invites a Graduate Environmental Consultant to join the Environment team. You will contribute to delivering EIA and environmental consenting services for major infrastructure, regeneration and energy projects across the UK.

In this entry role, you’ll support EIA coordinators, review technical inputs, apply environment-led design principles, and develop project management and commercial skills while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Geography & Geospatial Science, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science.
• MS applications, EIA, organisation, co-ordination and collaborative working across teams.
• GIS, project management, programme management.

Responsibilities

• Writing sections of environmental reports including EIA screening letters, EIA scoping reports, non-technical sections of Environmental Statements
• Supporting the review of technical inputs for alignment with project details and EIA compliance
• Inputting to environmental design and applying environmental-led design principles
• Interfacing with project teams both internal and external and developing project management and commercial skills
• Communicating and liaising with clients and contributing to bids and presentations
