Job summary

Arup is seeking a Graduate Environmental Consultant in Leeds as part of its Early Careers programme. You’ll work within the Environment Team delivering EIA services for major infrastructure, regeneration, energy, transport and development projects, learning under a multidisciplinary group and contributing to environmental statements.

The role focuses on delivering all stages of EIA and consenting, with structured learning, accredited training, and mentoring.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Geography & Geospatial Science, Environmental Engineering or Environmental Science
MS applications, EIA, organisation, co-ordination and collaborative working across teams
GIS, project management, programme management

Responsibilities

Writing sections of environmental reports including EIA screening letters, EIA scoping reports, non-technical sections of Environmental Statements
Supporting the review of technical inputs for alignment with project details and EIA compliance
Inputting to environmental design and applying environmental-led design principles
Interfacing with project teams both internal and external
Communicating and liaising with clients
Contributing to bids and presentations
