IPS Group Limited is seeking an Employment Solicitor with up to 2 years PQE to join its expanding Employment team in Wigan on a hybrid basis. The role offers exposure to both claimant and respondent matters and a clear path to career progression.

You will work on a varied caseload, advising employers and employees, handling settlement agreements, and contributing to case strategy. Excellent communication and client care are essential, with a collaborative approach valued.

Qualifications

• Qualified Solicitor with up to 2 years' PQE
• Strong interest in developing a career in Employment Law
• Excellent communication and client care skills
• Strong organisational and time management abilities
• Commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Positive, proactive and collaborative approach to work
• Experience handling insurance panel work
• Exposure to Employment Tribunal litigation
• Experience conducting merits assessments on tribunal claims

Responsabilités

• Advise both employers and employees on a varied caseload including contentious and non-contentious matters
• Assist with day-to-day employment law and HR advisory work
• Support on settlement agreements and restructuring advice
• Contribute to case strategy and merits assessments for tribunal claims
• Develop skills inEmployment Tribunal litigation and documentation
